Concrete Pumps C.C. was started in 1968 based on a franchise to manufacture and sell the SEM Concrete Placer Pumps.  Due to its low price, SEM pumps soon captured more than 75% of the market and was responsible for awakening the industry to the benefit of pumping concrete.
