Incorporating the latest electronic technology, Instrotech's locally designed and manufactured Multi Function Model 6004MF weighing amplifier is an all-in-one unit which can be used for almost any weighing application at a cost effective price.
Applications
This powerful, compact field mount amplifier is selectable as:
• loadcell transmitter
• belt weigher
• loss-in-weight transmitter
• throughput weigher
• bag filler
• batch weigher and
• dynamometer.
The microprocessor power, speed and memory capacity allows for a host of additional functions such as data logging with plug-in SD memory cards, PI control, global positioning system (GPS), Ethernet and universal serial bus (USB).
Easy to Configure
Application selection and configuration is simplified. Six digital inputs, six relay (or solid state) outputs, four function keys and displays are freely configurable. Function blocks enable selection of analog outputs, digital communications, auto-zero maintenance, lineariser, application settings and transmitter settings. A simulate function is available to drive analog outp0uts and force relays in order to test external devices during commissioning. Another innovation is PI control to convert the transmitter into proportional plus integral controller. The analog output (mA or Volts) can now be used for SG control with the loadcell transmitter or flow rate control in beltweigher or loss-in-weight applications.
The Model 6004MF has a rugged powder coated, cast aluminium housing with splashproof keypad. There are 2 displays: a clear 20mm main display as well as an auxiliary information LCD display.
