Belt Alignment Switches for monitoring conveyor belt misalignment & skewing.
By using a roller on a switch the roller constantly sweeps the belt.
Should the belt skew or misalign, a series of 2 switches are triggered, the first can for example be used to trigger a warning light or alarm. Should the belt skew even more the Belt alignment switch can assume direct control of the belt and stop the system completely, avoiding damages as a result of belt misaligning and skewing.
