GD, Gas Detection sensors
Danfoss Gas Detection Sensor Transmitters, type GD,are designed to meet all industrial refrigeration applications requirements.
GD supports a wide range of most used refrigerants within Industrial Refrigeration including Ammonia, Carbon Dioxide, Halo-Carbons and Hydro-carbons.
The sensors incorporate an interchangeable precalibrated sensor board, which makes it very easy to replace the sensor when service or the required calibration routine has to be done. • Danfoss Gas Detection sensor Transmitter have linear outputs, proportional to the gas concentration. Outputs: 0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA and two digital dry contacts.
• RS485 Buscommunication systems allows interface with Danfoss m2 monitoring unit.
• Optional display: LCD display, IP 65 enclosure and EExd (explosive proof).
• Danfoss Gas Detection sensor Transmitter can function independently as stand alone units and interface to PLC systems.
• Up to 99 GD sensors can be connected via the build-in Bus communication to the Danfoss m2 monitoring unit.
• Danfoss Gas Detection sensor Transmitters are available with a range of different sensor technologies to monitor most industrial refrigeration gases: Semi-Conductor, Electro-Chemical, Infra-Red and Catalytic.
• GD supports occupational exposure and leak detection.
• Typical applications: Compressor Machinery Rooms, Cold Stores, Distribution Centres and General Industrial buildings.
